ingredients: sun, sand, ocean, boogeyboards, a slight suburn, good friends, joe joe's cookies from trader joes, a pazooki from bj's, a good sunset, a bonfire or two, and did i mention good friends?

it's official.

central park is my favorite place to take pictures. yes, my favorite. and shooting these two was so great. as true new yorkers, they were perfect candidates for a shoot in the best part of the city. see more here.

emily is my new photography friend here in HB. we rode our bikes to the beach last week and shot these. it was fun to trade lenses and see what else is out there. the hardest thing about photography is approaching people for advice, so it's nice to have someone to ask technical questions and not feel stupid! her blog here.

i've been wanting to post these for the longest time but haven't gotten around to it. i love how these turned out. paige wore her grandma's dress. love it. i was lucky enough to go to their reception last weekend and had a blast. such a great wedding. congrats to the newly married mike and paige!

brit and tyler loved this series from a cup of jo... so they brought a balloon to our shoot. these two are so great.

best decision of 2008 = going to london and meeting this girl. i couldn't love this couple more and i'm so glad we decided do this so that this could all happen. so excited for their wedding in april.
