finishing the trip off right in eldorado hills with the demaso family. northern california is such a dream come true!

DC.

we took a bus to DC to spend some quality time with our nation's capitol. i left with more american pride just in time for the 4th.

we visited gettysburg (A+ experience), the holocaust museum, museum of american history, lincoln memorial, wwII memorial, georgetown, baked & wired bakeshop (best cupcake of the summer), ect. i love DC!

into the archives.

i've been going through and organizing my pictures and came across this one taken in 2006 in kyoto, japan. these little notes each contained handwritten prayers from the people. i've always remembered seeing this and thinking it was a cool representation of prayer. oh, how i wish i could ditch school for a couple weeks and go somewhere great to see things like this.

guess who's back?

going back here today... this time with a bunch of my classmates (and roommates who happen to also be classmates) for advertising week. i guess this is our way of telling byu that if they aren't going to give us a fall break, we'll just create our own :)

i just booked a flight to go hang out with these two in the big city in august. say hello to re-living the summer kels and i spent there together 3 years ago for a week. cupcakes, fine dining, photoshoots, and quality time with friends made in the brimhall building (shout out to casey and carly). kels even said she would give me cooking lessons if i give her photography tips. sounds like a good deal to me!
