room with a view.

poking my lens outside my hotel window... we kept asking ourselves, "how did we get this room for 25 euros a night?" magic... a.k.a a wink and a smile to the italian landlord

amazing.

siena.

siena was a place of adventure for us. we arrived late, were saved by two elders who got us a cab, fell in love with our 60 year old landlord who didn't speak a lick of english, danced through the town with a mariachi band at midnight, people watched while eating gelato in the piazza del campo, and most importantly saw her at church. not to mention amazing sightseeing and 100 degree weather. we threw on our tanktops and kept cool by frequenting the gelateria at least twice a day... or maybe 3?

cinque terra continued.

laying out on the beach here was basically the greatest activity i could ever think of. anybody want to go back next summer? i may have to start a lemonade stand.
